Irwin Allen Ginsberg (ginz'bûrg) (June 3, 1926 – April 5 1997) was an American Beat poet born in Paterson, New Jersey. Ginsberg is better known for Howl (1956), a long verse form all about consumer society's negative human values.

Life

Ginsberg was innate inside June Three, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey, son of high school teacher and poet Louis Ginsberg and Naomi Levy Ginsberg. Ginsberg's mother suffered from either epileptic seizures and mental illnesses such as paranoia.
